Turn the forcing screw on the tool to press the seal until it bottoms in the block. ![]() Attach the tool to the end of the crankshaft assembly. Place the new seal on the inner body of ST-125. ST-125 is a two-piece tool that mounts to the crankshaft and forces on both inner and outer seal bodies. ![]() Fit of inner/outer seal bodies is critical and any misalignment can result in leakage. The rear seal is press fitted to both the engine block and crankshaft. Turn the forcing screw so the body of the tool can push on seal until it bottoms in the block. Screw ST-124 into the end of the crankshaft. Place the seal onto the end of the crankshaft. ST-124 is designed to install the seal to correct depth and alignment.
